Domain Managment
A contract can be deployed on multiple chains and each with a different address. A Metis domain serves as an unique identifier of the contract on any number of chains.
- Developer creates a domain to associate with an smart contract deployed on multiple chains.
- Domain can be updated to point to a different contract address.
- Other smart contracts can call methods based on the domain as well.
- People can trade domains on domain market place.
Click on the "..." behind a Domain name in the Domain list, there is an interface to change the contracts that have been bounded with the Domain.
